…..One Halloween in 1995, I was handed a bag of treats by a local church that contained a Gospel tract. When I read the Gospel inside, the Lord convicted my heart of who I really was – a sinner. The next Sunday I stepped inside a church for only the second time in my life. ….Shortly after we moved to Poquoson, my oldest daughter began to go to a church very close to our house. Time passed and our other daughter began to go church with her. The girls asked me and my husband to come with them. I resisted for some time, but deep within me I sensed that there must be something more to life then this…. What a blessing it has been to see Thomas grow up in the ministry. Thomas accepted Christ as a result of Buddy being faithful to teach his family in the Word and as a result of the ministry of Evangelist “Tricky Ricky”. Thomas recently graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is currently employed at Newport News Ship Building.
